Leader :In the Name of the Father .

           Thou, O Lord, will open our lips

Response:      And our tongue shall announce Your praise!

Leader:          Come Holy Spirit and Fill the hearts of the Faithful!

Response:      And Kindle in them the fire of Thy love!

Leader:          Send forth Your spirit and they shall be created

Response:      And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O Lord, who by the light of the Holy Spirit didst instruct the hearts of the faithful. Grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Leader:          Let us place ourselves in the presence of God and adore His Holy Name.

Response:     Most Holy and August Trinity. One God in three Persons. I believe You are here present. 1 adore You with sentiments of deepest humility and out of my whole heart, I pay You the homage due to Your sovereign majesty.

Leader:        Let us thank God for the graces, which He has bestowed upon us, and let us offer ourselves to Him.

Response:     Most humbly, I thank You, O my God, for all the graces which hereto for I have received from You. That I have ever seen this day is due to Your goodness and for that reason my desire is to spend it solely in Your service. I wish to consecrate to You, all its thoughts, words, deeds and trials. Bless them O Lord so that every act of mine may be animated with Your love and tend towards Your glory.

Leader:        Morning salutation to the Sacred Heart

Response:     I adore, praise and salute You O most sweet Heart of Jesus Christ Fresh and gladdening as the breath of spring, form which as from a fountain of Grace sweeter than the honey comb, flows ever more all good and all delights. I thank You with all the powers of my heart, for having preserved me throughout this night and for having rendered to God the Father praises and thanksgiving on my behalf. And now, my sweet love, I offer You my wretched and worthless love as a morning sacrifice. I place it in your keeping. Beseeching You that You would deign to pour into it Your divine inspirations and to enkindle in it, Your holy love. Arisen

PRAYER:

Dear Sacred Heart King and friend of my family, no one knows better than you, the grace I need in order to fulfil the duties of my state in life. I ask You then, dear Jesus, to grant me all these graces to fulfil as perfectly as possible my duties in order to please you and to merit for myself peace of soul. In this way I in turn can help to bring about peace in my family,grant me and my familythese graces through the Immaculate heart of Your Mother, the loving Queen of my home.

Leader:       Let us therefore resolve to avoid sin and practice virtue

Response:      Adorable Jesus, Divine model of that perfection after which I should aspire. I wish to apply myself as much as possible to make myself like unto Thee meek, humble, chaste, zealous, industrious, patient, charitable, resigned. Particularly, I will make every effort this day, not to fall into those faults, which I have committed so often and from which I sincerely desire to be delivered.

Leader:           Let us ask for the Grace for which we stand in need

Response:      O my God who knows my weakness, I can do nothing without the

help of Thy grace, refuse it not to me O my God. Proportion it to my necessities. Give me strength to avoid all the evil you have forbidden. To practice all the good You expect from me and to suffer patiently all the trials it will please You to send me.

O Holy Spirit God, take me as your disciple, enlighten me, sanctify me.  Bind my hand that they may do no evil, cover my eyes that they may see no evil,

Sanctify my heart that evil may not dwell within me. Inspire me always to

good thoughts, words and actions. Amen.                            

Leader:          Let us commend ourselves to our loving and caring mother,

Mary O, sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, dwelling pure and Holy. Cover my soul with your maternal protection, so that ever being faithful to the voice of Jesus, it responds to His love and obeys His Divine will.

I wish, O my Mother, to keep unceasingly before me Your Co­Redemption in order to live intimately with Your heart that is totally united to the heart of your Divine Son.

Fasten me to this heart by your sorrows and virtues. Protect me always.

Leader:          Let us therefore pledge ourselves to Mary

My Queen, my Mother, I give myself entirely to thee and to show my devotion to thee I hereby consecrate to thee this day, my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my affections, my fears, my whole being without reserve. Wherefore Good Mother as I am thine own, keep me, guard me as thy property and possession.

Leader:          Let us offer our mother Mary, the loveliest of mothers a prize most dear to her

Response:      A thousand times I greet thee O Mother of all mercy, through the Most Sweet Heart of Jesus, and with profoundest reverence I offer thee this same Divine heart with all the good there is enclosed there in, for the increase of all thy joy and happiness and in perfect reparation for all the negligence I have been guilty, of in your service, Amen

Leader:     Wherefore with heart and mind we say.

Response: Hail Mary! White Lily of the Most Glorious and always Serene Trinity, Hail Brilliant Rose of the Garden of heavenly delights O, You by whom God wanted to be born and by whose milk the king of Heaven wanted to be nourished. Nourish our soul with effusions of divine grace. Amen.

Blessed be your purity! May it be blessed forever for no less than God takes delight in such exalted beauty. Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the Heart of God! Clothe us with your virtues. Especially humility, child-like simplicity and charity. By your Immaculate Conception. O Mary keep our bodies pure and our souls holy.

Leader:     Let us consecrate our family to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Response:  Queen of the Most Holy Rosary and tender mother of men. To fulfil the desires of the Sacred Heart and the request of the vicar of your Son on Earth, we consecrate ourselves to you and your Immaculate Heart and recommend to you all the families of our nation and of the entire world. Please accept our consecration Dearest Mother and use us and all families as you wish, to accomplish your designs upon the world. Immaculate Heart of Mary Queen of Heaven and Earth, and of our family, rule over us, together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ our King. Save us from the spreading flood of modern paganism. Kindle in our hearts and homes, the love for the homes, the love of purity, the practice of the Christian life and an ardent zeal for souls and for the holiness of family life.

We come with confidence to you, 0! Throne of Grace and Mother of fair love. Inflame us with the same love, which has inflamed your most Immaculate Heart Make our heart and homes your shrine and through us make the heart of Jesus rule and triumph in every family in the world. Amen. O Sacred Heart of Jesus, give us the grace to love and carry out our temporal and spiritual obligations within our family. Amen.

Mary, Our Lady protectress of the church, you Mighty Virgin, you are the sublime, glorious protectress of the church, the wonderful help of Christians you are re­doubtable like an army ready for a pitched battle. You alone have reduced to nothing all the heresies all over the world. In our needs, our fights, our distresses, pro­tect us against the enemy, and at the hour of our death, take our soul to heaven. O my God, I firmly believe that You are one God in three divine Persons Father, Son & Holy Spirit. I believe that Your Divine Son became man and died for our sins and that He shall come to judge the living and the dead. O my God relying on Your Almighty Power and infinite Mercy and promise, I hope to obtain pardon for my sins, the help of Your grace and life everlasting through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer

O my God, I love You above all things with my whole heart and soul because You are all good and worthy of all love.

I love my neighbour as myself for the love of You. I  forgive all who have injured me and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.

O my Jesus, through the most pure Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works and suffering of this day, for the intentions of your Most Sacred Heart In union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for our sins for all the intentions of our relatives and friends and for the intentions of the Holy Father.

 

O my sweet Jesus, lover of souls, by the agony of Thy Most Sacred Heart and by the sorrows of Thy Dearest Mother, Cleanse in Thy Blood, the sinners of the whole world who are now in their agony and are to die this day.

Heart of Jesus agonizing, have mercy on the dying.

As we step out, bless our efforts. Send our holy angels to        prepare a favourable response to our requests and crown our efforts with success. Amen.

Holding it an honour to use and develop by labour the Gifts I have received from the Almighty God, my Father. Pray with me that I may obtain help to work with order, peace, moderation and patience and never shirk duty because of weariness or because of difficulties encountered ... and that, before all else, I may work with a right intention and with detachment from self; keeping always in mind the hour of my death and the account. I must give then for misused time, for neglected talents, for good not done, and for any foolish pride in my success - a fault so fatal to the work of God. We offer Thee all the pains, sufferings, prayers, sacrifices, joys and relaxations of our lives, in union with those of our dear Lord Jesus here on earth.
