AUGUST,the month dedicated to the THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
The Children's Comments.

Lucy relates that on June 13th, 1917,
after speaking at length about her
Immaculate Heart, Our Lady of Fatima again stretched forth her hands,
throwing on the children the rays of that immense light in which they saw
themselves as if immersed in God . . .

The Blessed Virgin held in her   right hand a Heart surrounded by thorns, which pierced it from all sides. The
seers understood that it was the    Immaculate Heart of Mary, afflicted by all the sins of the world, which demanded penance and reparation.

"It seems to me," said Lucy, "that on that day, the purpose of the light was to pour into us a special knowledge and love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as on other occasions it infused into us the knowledge and love of God, and the mystery
of the Blessed Trinity. From that day, indeed, we experienced a more ardent
love for the Immaculate Heart of Mary."Francis  had observed that this supernatural light, that the
Blessed Virgin threw on them and on the world, seemed to come from her
Heart.

ST. LOUIS DE MONTFORT IN - TRUE DEVOTION TO MARY -Predicted these times when he wrote: "It is through the most Blessed Virgin Mary that Jesus Christ has come into the world and it is also through Her that He ought to reign in the world.

In these last times, the Blessed virgin will be better known and revealed by the Holy Ghost in order to make Jesus better known, loved and served".

No one doubts today that we are in the times, the Blessed Virgin is manifesting Herself more plainly in an ardent, motherly call to conversion, love, peace and reconciliation exactly as predicted.

Act of Consecration
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary, I consecrate myself and my whole family to you.
We consecrate to you our very being and all our life, all that we are, all that we have, and all that we love. To you we give our bodies, our hearts and our souls. To you we dedicate our home and our country.
Mindful of this consecration, we now promise you to live the Christian way by the practice of Christian virtues, without regard for human respect.
O Most Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, accept our humble confidence and this act of consecration by which we entrust our family and ourselves to you.
In you we put all our hope, and we shall never be confounded.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us.
